How to watch and odds

  • Date: Saturday, Sep. 28 | Time: 7:30 p.m. ET
  • Location: Chase Stadium -- Fort Lauderdale, Florida
  • Live stream: MLS Season Pass
  • Odds: Inter Miami -200; Draw +380; Charlotte FC +450

Storylines

Inter Miami: With Sergio Busquets and Tomas Aviles back from suspension, Martino will have most of his first choice XI available. While Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez have been critical to scoring goals, it's also important not to concede, which is where having first choice defenders is pretty important. On a good day Miami's defense will allow chances, but they can't afford more draws with records at stake.

Charlotte FC: Struggling to string together wins, Charlotte has only won one of their last four matches and that was against New England who finished with 10 men. They're firmly in the playoffs for now but pick up a few losses and things could quickly change in a tight Eastern Conference.  Defeating Miami will be a tall task but Dean Smith's side needs points quickly to confirm their playoff positioning.

Prediction

Ending a run of consecutive draws, Inter Miami will secure all three points with a comprehensive victory at home. Pick: Inter Miami 2, Charlotte FC 1
