Birla asked the Leader of the Opposition (Rahul Gandhi) to tell members of his party not to display posters. He said members resorting to such protest were lowering the dignity of the House. The house adjourned till 1300 hours

Out of the total 16 hours allocated for discussion on Operation Sindoor in Rajya Sabha, Congress has been allotted an approximate time of two hours, during which Rajya Sabha LoP Mallikarjun Kharge will open the debate in the House.

Before adjourning the Lok Sabha until 12 noon during Question Hour, Speaker Om Birla accused the Opposition of deliberately disrupting House proceedings. He urged Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi to instruct his party members not to display posters, stating that such acts were diminishing the dignity of Parliament. The Speaker noted that these disruptions were preventing members from participating in Question Hour and emphasized that the public was watching the House being intentionally thrown into disorder.

'Then You Rush Into The Well'

Addressing the Opposition directly, Speaker Birla said, "First, you demand a debate on Operation Sindoor, and then you rush into the Well of the House. If you truly want a discussion, please return to your seats. Do you want a debate on Operation Sindoor or not?... Should I adjourn the House?"

The proceedings of Rajya Sabha also adjourned till 2 pm.
