A chlorine gas leak was reported at a water filtration plant in the Godhni area of Maharashtra's Nagpur district, triggering panic in the locality. People present at the site were evacuated and moved to safer locations following the incident.

Fire Brigade, NDRF Teams At Spot
The incident took place in the intervening night of Sunday and Monday at the water filtration plant premises in the Godhni Gram Panchayat area.
Teams from the Nagpur Municipal Corporation's fire department reached the site after the leak was reported. The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) also joined the rescue operation.
Efforts are underway to contain the gas leak and safely evacuate those affected.
