Dana White reveals new timeline for Conor McGregor’s UFC return, nixes Logan Paul boxing match

“In the fall” would make it more than four years since McGregor last competed.

Dana White is hoping Conor McGregor will make his Octagon return in the fall, which is what he says every year, but as long as “Notorious” remains under contract with UFC, White and Co. have the last say when it comes to when and where McGregor will fight.

Is fall still considered “early 2025?”

With that in mind, it may come as a disappointment to learn the former two-division champion, who holds a professional record of 22-6, will no longer be considered for a billionaire boxing bout against Logan Paul (or KSI) in India, though no specific reason was provided for the change in plans.

“Hopefully Conor McGregor returns in the fall of this year,” White told Pardon My Take.

White’s job is to “sometimes give you misinformation,” according to this insider, though McGregor — who turns 37 in July — may shoulder some of the blame for his lengthy absence. The “Notorious” brand is currently in the toilet after an Irish civil court found him liable for assault.

See you this fall ... or not.
