CMF Phone 2 Pro is official: Features, Price, and Availability

Nothing’s sub-brand CMF has officially unveiled its latest smartphone in India — the CMF Phone 2 Pro. Positioned in the mid-range segment, the new device features a dual-tone design, upgraded cameras, and is powered by the Dimensity 7300 Pro chipset, which delivers a 10% faster CPU and a 5% improvement in GPU performance compared to the previous CMF Phone 1. Alongside the smartphone, CMF also introduced the CMF Buds 2, Buds 2a, and Buds 2 Plus at the launch event.

Continuing the modular approach introduced with its predecessor, the CMF Phone 2 Pro maintains the rear panel attachment point, allowing users to connect various accessories. These include a universal cover, interchangeable lenses (usable only with the universal cover), a lanyard, and a wallet with an integrated stand.

• Display: CMF claims that the Phone 2 Pro offers the largest and brightest screen in its class — a 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display featuring a 120Hz refresh rate and a 1000Hz touch sampling rate, paired with an optical in-display fingerprint scanner.
• Thermal Management: The smartphone is equipped with an advanced cooling system, incorporating a heat pipe that efficiently dissipates heat from the chipset. Additional cooling elements include a cryogenic side frame and highly thermally conductive graphite layers on both the front and back.
• Software and AI: The Phone 2 Pro ships with Nothing OS 3.2, built on Android 15. CMF guarantees three years of Android updates and six years of security patches. The software includes new AI-driven features such as the exclusive Essential Space, which helps organize tasks, events, and memories seamlessly.
• Design and Build: True to the brand’s philosophy of Colour, Material, Finish, the smartphone boasts a dual-tone rear finish, exposed screws, and a customizable Essential Key located on the right frame. At 7.8mm, it is the slimmest smartphone Nothing has released so far.

• Cameras: The CMF Phone 2 Pro houses a triple rear camera setup:

  • A 50-megapixel main sensor (1/1.57″ size), touted as the largest in the segment.
  • A 50-megapixel telephoto camera offering 2x optical zoom.

  The front houses a 16-megapixel selfie camera.

• Performance and Battery: The device features 8GB of RAM and is powered by a 5,000mAh battery supporting 33W fast charging. Notably, the fast charger is included in the box — a rare bonus these days.

CMF Phone 2 Pro: Price, Availability, and Launch Offers

The CMF Phone 2 Pro will be available starting May 5 via Flipkart in White, Black, Orange, and Light Green.

• The Black and Light Green versions feature a frosted glass-like back with a metallic frame.
• The White variant sports a sandstone texture.
• The Orange edition has a distinctive metallic finish.

The phone will be sold in two storage options:

• 8GB RAM + 128GB storage priced at ₹18,999.
• 8GB RAM + 256GB storage priced at ₹20,999.

Additionally, early buyers can avail a ₹1,000 discount through Nothing’s official retail partners, including Flipkart, Flipkart Minutes, Vijay Sales, and Croma.
