The vivo X200 series continues to expand, and the latest addition might just be the most value-oriented flagship in the lineup yet. Vivo has officially launched the vivo X200T in India, positioning it as a “performance-first” device that retains the premium build and optical prowess of its more expensive siblings while aiming for a more accessible price point.

vivo X200T: Premium Build and Display

Despite being the “T” variant—often associated with performance refreshes—vivo hasn’t cut corners on durability. The X200T features a premium metal frame sandwiched between glass panels, with the front protected by Schott glass. Notably, the device carries both IP68 and IP69 certification, making it resistant not just to submersion, but also to high-pressure, high-temperature water jets.

The visual experience is driven by a 6.67-inch Zeiss Color Master AMOLED display. It is a 10-bit panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and a staggering peak brightness of 5,000 nits, ensuring legibility even under the harshest direct sunlight.

Triple 50MP Zeiss Camera System

Photography remains a core pillar of the X series identity. The X200T is equipped with a cohesive triple 50MP rear setup co-engineered with Zeiss:

  • Main: A 50MP wide-angle shooter utilizing the 1/1.56-inch Sony LYT702 sensor.
  • Telephoto: A 50MP periscope zoom lens (70mm equivalent, 3x optical zoom) featuring the Sony LYT600 sensor and an f/2.57 aperture, ideal for portraits.
  • Ultrawide: A 50MP autofocusing lens with a 15mm focal length, powered by the JN1 sensor.

For selfies, the device uses a 32MP KD1 sensor.

Performance and Long-Term Support

Under the hood, the X200T is powered by the 3nm MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset, ensuring top-tier performance. This is paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage options of 256GB or 512GB.

In a significant move for software longevity, vivo has promised 5 years of Android OS updates and 7 years of security patches. The phone ships with OriginOS 6, based on Android 16.

Next-Gen Battery Technology

Perhaps the most impressive specification is the battery. By utilizing third-generation silicon anode technology, vivo has packed a massive 6,200mAh battery into the chassis without adding excessive bulk. It supports 90W wired charging and 40W wireless charging. Gamers will appreciate the inclusion of bypass charging, which powers the phone directly from the cable during heavy loads to reduce heat and preserve battery health.

vivo X200T Availability

The vivo X200T is available in two colorways: Stellar Black and Seaside Lilac. It will be sold via Flipkart, vivo’s official online store, and offline retail partners across India.
