Samsung Galaxy S26 FE Price and Storage Options Revealed

Samsung has officially unveiled the Galaxy S26 FE, and while the new mid-range flagship brings updated specifications, it also arrives with a clear and consistent price increase compared to its predecessor. The device is already appearing on Samsung’s official website and will soon be available through carriers and retailers, but sales will not begin until Friday, September 4.

The price adjustments affect every storage configuration, making the Galaxy S26 FE one of the more expensive “Fan Edition” models Samsung has released in recent years.

Base configuration stays at 8GB RAM and 128GB storage

The Galaxy S26 FE retains an 8GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration as its base model. Notably, it is now the only Galaxy S26-series phone to offer this combination.

Samsung’s standard Galaxy S26 moved to 12GB of RAM a generation ago and, starting with this generation, ships with 256GB of storage as standard (excluding the limited Enterprise Edition). Competitors have followed a similar trend: both Google Pixel and Apple iPhone lines have shifted to 256GB as their entry-level storage option in many markets.

Keeping the S26 FE at 128GB may help justify a lower starting price on paper, but the actual launch pricing shows a clear upward shift compared to the Galaxy S25 FE.

Price increases across all storage options

The 128GB Galaxy S26 FE is priced at $700 in the United States and €800 in Europe. At launch, the 128GB Galaxy S25 FE was priced at $650 and €750, representing a $50 / €50 increase for the base model.

The price gap widens significantly at higher storage tiers:

• A 256GB Galaxy S25 FE launched at approximately €810.
• The equivalent 256GB Galaxy S26 FE is priced at €900, a €90 increase.
• The 8GB/512GB variant, which was around €930 for the S25 FE, is now listed at €1,100 for the S26 FE — a €170 jump.

Not all regions will receive every configuration. The 512GB variant, for example, will not be available in the United States, though it is listed in the UK and across the European Union.

Value question at the top end

At the highest price point, the Galaxy S26 FE begins to overlap with more premium devices. For around €1,100–€1,200, buyers in some markets have been able to find 12GB/512GB versions of the Galaxy S26 Ultra on promotion.

That creates a potentially difficult positioning decision for Samsung: at the top of the S26 FE range, the price approaches that of a current-generation Ultra model, which offers a more advanced camera system, additional features and, in many cases, a more complete flagship experience.

For buyers focused purely on value, this may make the upper-tier S26 FE configurations harder to recommend unless Samsung or retailers introduce early discounts.

Availability timeline

Although the Galaxy S26 FE is already visible on Samsung’s online store, customers will not be able to purchase the device immediately. Official sales are scheduled to begin on Friday, September 4, with availability expanding through carriers and third-party retailers in the following days and weeks.

Until then, the published pricing and configuration details provide a clear signal: the Galaxy S26 FE will be more expensive than its predecessor at every level, raising the bar for what Samsung expects buyers to pay for a mid-range flagship in 2026.
