J&K Govt Grants Special Casual Leave For Eid-ul-Azha On May 29

JAMMU, May 25: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has sanctioned one day Special Casual Leave on May 29 for employees wishing to observe Eid-ul-Azha.

According to Government Order No. 1012-JK(GAD) of 2026 issued by the General Administration Department, the leave has been granted in connection with the observance of the religious festival across the Union Territory.

The order, issued under the signature of Commissioner/Secretary to the Government M. Raju, stated that the Special Casual Leave would be applicable to employees intending to avail leave on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.

Copies of the order have been circulated among Administrative Secretaries, Heads of Departments, Deputy Commissioners and other concerned authorities for necessary action.
