JKBOSE Declares Class 12 Results; 85% Students Qualify
by Northlines · NorthlinesJAMMU, Jan 14: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) on Wednesday announced the annual regular results of the 12th standard, with at least 85 percent students qualifying the examination.
Officials of JKBOSE said that 85 percent of candidates cleared the Class 12 exams this year. The Board also informed that 84 percent students have qualified the annual regular examination of the 10th standard.
Pertinently, JKBOSE had earlier announced a 15 percent syllabus relaxation for students of Classes 10th, 11th and 12th appearing in the annual examinations.
In a notification, the Director Academics of JKBOSE stated that the decision was taken following recommendations from the Director School Education Kashmir (DSEK) and Director School Education Jammu (DSEJ), besides representations from other stakeholders. The relaxation was granted in view of the delayed start of the academic session and repeated disruptions caused by heat waves, torrential rains, cloudbursts and floods.
“As approved by the competent authority, it is notified that the prospective eligible students appearing in Class 10th, 11th and 12th in the ensuing annual regular 2025 examination in Kashmir Division and winter zone areas of Jammu Division, including the UT of Ladakh, shall attempt 85 percent marks corresponding to 100 percent marks, thereby availing 15 percent relaxation in syllabus,” the notification reads.
