Omar Abdullah to Table J&K Budget 2026–27 in Assembly Today
by Northlines · NorthlinesJAMMU, Feb 6: The Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly will take up key financial business on Thursday, with Chief Minister Omar Abdullah scheduled to present the Annual Financial Statement of Expenditure for the financial year 2026–27.
The Chief Minister will present the Budget for 2026–27 and deliver his budget speech, outlining the government’s fiscal priorities, development roadmap and proposed expenditure for the coming year.
He is also slated to table the Supplementary Statement of Expenditure for 2025–26, which will detail additional spending requirements for the current financial year. (Agencies)
