J&K: CRPF Jawan Injured in Leopard Attack in Anantnag

Srinagar, Dec 24: A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawan was injured after a leopard strayed into a paramilitary camp and attacked him in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday, officials said.

The incident occurred at a CRPF camp in the Kapran area of Verinag in south Kashmir when the leopard entered the premises while personnel were having breakfast in the mess, they said.

The injured jawan was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, where he is undergoing treatment. (Agencies)
