Spotify Wrapped is one of the weirder internet-age holidays we've all somewhat agreed to. But for years, parents' annual

roundup has been ruined by the scourge of algorithms everywhere — kids' music.

But no longer shall Wrapped everywhere be ruined (or improved) by The Wiggles. Because Spotify has added an option to strip out family and kids' music from your algorithm, banishing them from your Spotify Wrapped for good (via Android Authority). And all you need to do is flip a switch.

Kids ruining your Spotify algorithm is a very real hazard of parenthood, and Spotify recently fought back against that with the introduction of

, giving kids their own space to listen, while still letting parents control listening habits.

But there's still the very real problem of listening in shared spaces. When you put music on in the car, you can be sure you're not taking the time to swap accounts. And so, more of your kids taste creeps into your algorithm, ruining your Spotify Wrapped.

That injustice could not be allowed to stand, and Spotify hasn't let it. Now, a simple switch lets you decide whether you let music designated as "kids" or "family" to rule your Wrapped.

All you need to do to use it is switch the option on. Once it's activated, it'll take up to 48 hours to run through and prune your music history of any offending tracks, and then it'll simply stop paying attention whenever similar music is played.

In short, Spotify will intelligently decide which songs are likely to fall under the umbrella of "kids and family music", and won't let it dictate your algorithm or your Spotify Wrapped.

To give it a go, head here:

1. Tap your profile picture, then Settings and privacy.
2. Tap Content and display.
3. Toggle off Include kids and family music in taste profile.

Obviously this is a bad choice if you enjoy listening to Disney music or anything like that, because Spotify will strip it out. Which is probably why it's an opt-in, not an opt-out. Imagine if someone lost out on being in the top 0.1% of Disney listeners? Tragic.

Sadly for my Wrapped this year, the option doesn't seem to be live for me yet, so I have some time to wait until my algorithm isn't just K-pop Demon Hunters. But, on the plus side,
