I am sure Ghana will make a great World Cup – Comoros coach Stefano Cusin

Comoros coach Stefano Cusin believes the Black Stars will have a good tournament at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Ghana secured qualification after a 1-0 win over Comoros on Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium, with Mohammed Kudus scoring the only goal in the second half.

The win over Comoros meant that Ghana finished on top of Group I to qualify for its fifth World Cup in six straight editions of the tournament.

Speaking after the game, Cusin praised the performance of the Black Stars and predicted a good tournament for the four-time African champions.

“You [Ghana] have wonderful players, you have history, you have experience and everything, so I am sure you are going to make a great World Cup."

The Black Stars will learn their group-stage opponents when the official draw takes place on December 5.

Meanwhile, Comoros have qualified to compete in this year’s AFCON and have been drawn in Group A alongside host nation Morocco, Zambia and Mali.
