Medeama coach Ibrahim Tanko has called on supporters to rally behind the team as the Ghana Premier League enters its decisive phase.

With only ten matches left in the season, Tanko believes the backing of the fans will be vital, especially in home games, as Medeama push to improve their recent form.

The Mauve and Yellow will host Hohoe United on Sunday, March 8, at the TnA Stadium in their Week 25 fixture.

Medeama head into the clash after recording three draws, one win and one defeat in their last five matches. The team will be hoping to return to winning ways and avoid dropping points at home during the final stretch of the campaign.

"Yes, I mean as usual we started it together now we are in the last 10 games definitely and we need their support and definitely we hope that they will come in their numbers to support the team," he told Medi TV.

"Because like I said now from now on we don't have to drop at any point especially in the home game, so we hope that they will come in their numbers and support,"

Hohoe United, meanwhile, arrive for the encounter with two wins from their last five games and are looking to climb out of the relegation zone.

Sunday’s match at the TnA Stadium will kick off at 3:00 pm.
