Na God FC to battle Golden Warriors in crucial zone three relegation playoff on May 30

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has confirmed that the Zone Three relegation playoff between Na God FC and Golden Warriors will take place on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The decisive encounter is scheduled to kick off at 3:00pm, with both sides battling to secure their place in next season’s Division One League campaign.

Na God FC and Golden Warriors ended the season level on 34 points, making a playoff necessary to determine which club survives the drop.

Their head-to-head meetings during the campaign also failed to separate the two teams, as Golden Warriors claimed a 2-1 home victory before Na God FC responded with an identical 2-1 win in the reverse fixture.

With everything now set for a winner-takes-all showdown in Accra, it is up to the clubs to prepare and fight with everything on the matchday.

The victorious side will retain its Division One League status for the 2026/27 season, while the defeated team will be relegated to the Regional Second Division.
