Bibiani Gold Stars are back on top of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League standings at the end of Week 28.

The matchday came to an end on Tuesday as the previously postponed fixture between Asante Kotoko and FC Samartex was concluded.

In the game played at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, FC Samartex secured all three points after a 2-1 triumph.

Before that game, the other fixtures had been cleared on Saturday and Sunday. Among the games, Bibiani Gold Stars battled to beat Nations FC 2-1 at home, capitalising on Medeama SC’s 1-1 draw with Bechem United to reclaim the top spot in the division.

With 51 points, Gold Stars now lead Medeama SC by a single point, heading into the last six matches of the league season.

Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko complete the top four with Holy Stars, Dreams FC, and Heart of Lions among the mid-table clubs.

After a hard-fought win over Aduana FC, Berekum Chelsea have climbed out of the relegation zone, leaving Young Apostles, Hohoe United, and Eleven Wonders in the red zone.
