Metro Mass collaboration a major milestone in modernising football logistics in Ghana – Kurt Okraku

Speaking on the agreement, the country’s football leader highlighted that the collaboration represents a transformative moment for how football travel and operations will be managed across the country.
He believes that the collaboration will benefit not just the national teams and domestic clubs, but all stakeholders.
“The collaboration represents a major milestone in the modernisation of football logistics in Ghana. By combining reliable transport infrastructure, fan-centred mobility solutions, digital systems, and dedicated services for clubs and national teams, the partnership is poised to transform how football travel is managed across the country while strengthening support systems for the game at every level,” Kurt Okraku said as quoted on ghanafa.org.
The partnership is expected to improve the organisation of transport for teams and stakeholders, while also introducing more structured systems to support football operations nationwide.
According to the GFA, the initiative is part of a broader effort to strengthen the infrastructure behind Ghana football and ensure smoother logistics for both domestic competitions and national team duties.
Under the agreement, Metro Mass Transit will provide 54-seater buses dedicated to serving Ghana’s national football teams, Ghana Premier League clubs, and other leagues operating under the jurisdiction of the Football Association.
