MTN FA Cup: Dreams FC captain John Antwi anticipating a tough final against Nations FC
· GhanaSoccernetThe captain of Dreams FC, John Antwi, is anticipating a tough encounter against Nations FC this weekend when the two teams lock horns in the MTN FA Cup final.
The two clubs are set to lock horns on Sunday, May 31, to battle for the last domestic silverware of the 2025/26 football season.
Speaking to SportyFM ahead of the showdown, John Antwi recounted the league encounters between the two sides and admitted that Dreams FC will face a tough test in the final.
He believes his side is capable of overcoming Nations FC to win the FA Cup, but insists they must stay focused and play as a team.
“Looking at Nations FC I will say they have a very good team. We played them in the league. I think we played them twice and it was very difficult. So going into the final with them we need to be prepared very well, be focused and then play as a team to win the trophy,” Antwi said.
The experienced attacker has been a key man for Dreams FC throughout the season and is expected to lead the lines in the FA Cup final.
The clash is scheduled for Sunday at the Legon Sports Stadium and will kick off at 6pm.
