Hearts of Oak will look to keep their fading Ghana Premier League title hopes alive when they host Aduana FC at the Accra Sports Stadium.

With only three matches remaining in the season, Hearts sit third on the table and trail the league leaders by five points, making victory essential in their pursuit of the title.

The Phobians have remained difficult to beat this season, but too many draws, especially at home, have hurt their title challenge. Despite boasting the best defensive record in the league with only 12 goals conceded in 31 matches, Hearts have struggled to turn performances into victories at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Coach Didi Dramani’s side were held to a frustrating goalless draw by Karela United in their previous outing and will be eager to return to winning ways.

Aduana, meanwhile, head into the fixture looking to recover from their 2-0 defeat to Basake Holy Stars, a result that effectively ended their own title ambitions.

The visitors will also draw confidence from their recent record against Hearts. Since February 2023, Aduana have won four of the last six meetings between the two sides, with the remaining two ending in draws.

Remarkably, Hearts have failed to score in any of those six matches, while Aduana have netted six times.
