Antoine Semenyo confident Man City can win EPL after Fulham victory
· GhanaSoccernetGhana forward Antoine Semenyo believes Manchester City can win the Premier League after closing the gap on leaders Arsenal.
Semenyo netted his fifth goal at City after opening the scoring in their 3-0 victory over Fulham on Wednesday night to cut Arsenal's lead to three points.
Meanwhile, the Gunners travel to Brentford on Thursday and will have the chance to restore their six points lead should they beat the Bees at the Gtech Community Stadium.
With the title challenge shaping up well, Semenyo is relishing the moment and remains confident of City's credentials.
“It’s new to me. I’m enjoying it. But obviously It comes with a lot of pressure and demands. We have the team to do it. We just need to keep going," said the Black Stars forward.
“Just going to sit tight and watch the game tomorrow and hopefully it goes our way so let’s see.”
Semenyo joined City in January and has become an instant hit, netting his fifth goal for the club after 8 games.
He also became the first Ghanaian to score 13 Premier League goals in a season, and could extend the record with 12 matches remaining.
