We are not happy with officiating - Young Apostles communications director Alhaji Mahama Banda
· GhanaSoccernetYoung Apostles communications director Alhaji Mahama Banda has voiced disappointment with officiating in the Ghana Premier League and wants fair play for Young Apostles.
Alhaji Banda spoke after the club threatened to withdraw from the competition.
He repeated the club concerns after CEO Gerald Domfeh announced a plan to boycott the remaining league fixtures over poor officiating.
The decision follows a 2-2 draw against Hohoe United in Matchday 19 at the Wenchi Sports Stadium that left the side frustrated.
"We accept that referees are also human they can make a mistake if the mistake happen one or two it is normal. There is something called margin of error if it is minimal it doesnt give room for suspicions," he told Peace FM as monitored by Ghanasoccernet.com
"But if the mistakes on the part of the referees becomes numerous it looks like they have an agenda against a particular team or for a particular team. Apostles like any other team in the league is crying over poor officiating week in week out,"
Young Apostles are 15th on the table with 22 points and will face Dreams FC at the Tuba Astro Turf in Matchday 20.
