Ghana forward Antoine Semenyo hails ‘perfect’ Manchester City environment after strong start

Ghana international Antoine Semenyo has hailed the perfect environment at Manchester City following an impressive start to life at the club.

Semenyo, who joined the Premier League giants last week has been outstanding, scoring two goals and providing an assist in two consecutive games.

The Black Stars attacker scored and registered and assist in their FA Cup game against Exeter City last Saturday before inspiring the side to a 2-0 victory over Newcastle United in the EFL Cup semi-final on Tuesday night.

Interestingly, the former AFC Bournemouth star has scooped a back-to-back Man of the Match awards for the Citizens, marking an impressive start to his spell at the club.

Speaking after victory against Newcastle United, the former Bristol City marksman eulogized the environment at the Manchester City.

"The environment at Manchester City is perfect. Everyone is confident and wanting to achieve the best".

"I've just come into that. They've helped me with my confidence and made me feel welcome!"

With back-to-back Man of the Match awards to his name, Semenyo has sent a strong message ahead of this weekend’s Manchester derby against United, where he will be hoping to retain his place in Guardiola’s starting XI.
