CAF Champions League: 'We will qualify for the Group Stage and do more' – Medeama President Moses Parker

Medeama SC president Moses Armah Parker has expressed gratitude to the club's supporters for their role in the team's Ghana Premier League triumph, while setting ambitious targets for their upcoming CAF Champions League campaign.

Speaking after the club's coronation ceremony, Parker thanked the fans for their unwavering support throughout the season.

"We thank them for their support and role they played in winning this trophy. For the first time, we are bringing Champions League football to Tarkwa," Parker said.

He also praised the TnA Stadium, which will host the club's continental matches. "This edifice is the best from GoldFields. It's FIFA standard and will host CAF Champions League football," he added.

When asked about the team's target for the upcoming continental campaign, Parker did not hold back.

"We will qualify for the group stage, and this time we need to do more," he declared.

Medeama secured only their second league title in history with an emphatic 5-2 victory over Heart of Lions. Now, the champions are setting their sights on making a mark in Africa. 🏆
