I am enjoying every moment, says Antoine Semenyo after scoring in Manchester City win at Newcastle

Manchester City forward Antoine Semenyo says he is enjoying every moment after scoring again in City's win against Newcastle United.

Pep Guardiola's side were hosted at St. James' Park on Tuesday in the first leg of the semifinals of the Carabao Cup.

After a goalless first half, Semenyo broke the deadlock in the 53rd minute before Ryan Cherki scored in added time to secure a 2-0 win.

Speaking after the game, the 26-year-old says he is enjoying every moment since joining the club.

“I’ve just come into that, and they’ve helped me with my confidence. It’s been a lot, definitely been a lot, but I’m enjoying it so far, I’m definitely picking things up very quickly," Semenyo said.

“I’m enjoying it. I’m playing with a smile on my face. I’m enjoying every moment," he added.

Antoine Semenyo, who joined Manchester City from AFC Bournemouth, opened his account against Exeter FC in the Third Round of the FA Cup.

Semenyo will hope to continue his impressive start at the club when they face Manchester United in the derby on Saturday afternoon.
