Kotoko goalkeeper Mohammed Camara snatched my girlfriend – Justice Blay

Former Asante Kotoko midfielder Justice Blay has made a sensational claim against his ex-teammate Mohammed Camara, accusing the Guinean of snatching his girlfriend during their time together at the club.

Speaking on Pure FM, Blay revealed that the incident led to a heated confrontation that eventually involved the police. “Camara Mohammed snatched my girlfriend. It even became a police case after I confronted the lady,” he disclosed.

Blay’s comments were part of a wider outburst following his exit from the club after the 2024/25 season. He also alleged that he was unfairly portrayed as the only player with disciplinary issues, particularly regarding rumours of alcohol use. “People have been misinformed that I’m the only drunkard in the club, but that’s not true,” he said, mentioning Camara and Joseph Ablor as players who also smoked shisha.

The midfielder further recounted internal tensions at the club, including a moment of frustration that led him to assault a security officer at the team’s clubhouse.

Justice Blay parted ways with Kotoko through a mutual termination of his contract, which had one more year remaining. His explosive revelations have raised fresh concerns about player conduct and team harmony at the Kumasi-based club.
