Groups confirmed for 2026 GFA Elite U15 Boys Championship

The Ghana Football Association has officially announced the groupings for the 2026 Elite U15 Boys Championship ahead of the start of the competition on Friday, May 29, 2026.

The tournament will be staged at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram and is scheduled to run until June 3, 2026.

The championship forms part of FIFA’s Talent Development Scheme (TDS) and is expected to feature some of the brightest young football talents from across the country.

Group A consists of the Ashanti Region, Elite Academy – Achimota School, Eastern Region, Volta Region, Northern Region, Elite Academy – Bolgatanga and Western Region.

Group B includes Greater Accra Region, Elite Academy – Prempeh College, Upper West Region, Central Region, Brong Ahafo Region and Upper East Region.

The competition is expected to serve as an important platform for talent identification and youth development, giving players the opportunity to showcase their abilities at the national level.

Scouts, coaches and football stakeholders are expected to closely monitor the tournament as Ghana continues efforts to develop future national team players through structured youth development programmes.

The upcoming edition will be the third staging of the Elite U15 Boys Championship since its introduction under the FIFA Talent Development Scheme initiative.
