Hearts of Oak midfielder Stephen Appiah Asare is anticipating a tough contest against Gold Stars this weekend when the two teams lock horns in the Ghana Premier League.

Speaking in a pre-match interview, the midfielder, who only returned to action last Sunday after a long injury layoff, disclosed that training has been good this week and the Phobians are upbeat ahead of the showdown.

“Coming back from injury is great. I’m very grateful to God for my return. Our preparations for the next match are great. We are preparing well this week for the upcoming game,” Stephen Asare told Hearts TV.

The midfielder continued, “If you want our away game,s we play differently. We are all eyeing the trophy, and we know it won’t be easy. We are appealing to the fans to continue supporting us. We can’t go alone. They should go with us to Bibiani because it’s going to be a very tough match.”

The Week 24 fixture between Gold Stars and Hearts of Oak is scheduled for Sunday, March 1, at Dun’s Park.
