Ghana’s Black Stars have completed their final training session ahead of Friday’s 2025 Kirin Cup friendly against Japan at the Toyota Stadium in Aichi.

The session included drills on attacking combinations, defensive organisation, and set-pieces, allowing head coach Otto Addo to finalise his lineup and game plan.

All 22 players participated, with particular attention given to players who arrived late to camp, including Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Benjamin Asare and AS Monaco defender Mohammed Salisu, ensuring they are fully ready for the match.

The final training provided an opportunity to build cohesion among the squad and assess player fitness ahead of the international friendly.

Ghana will face Japan on Friday, with the match serving as part of preparations for the 2026 World Cup and the team’s subsequent friendly against South Korea. Images from the training session captured the intensity, focus, and determination of the Black Stars ahead of kickoff.
