According to a report by Graphic Online, the Asantehene was in Poland last week and travels to Canada from there to inspire the playing body ahead of the game.
He will be the Special Guest of Honour at the 2026 FIFA World Cup Business Summit, taking place in Toronto, Canada, from June 15 to 21.
The event is being organised by the Canada-Ghana Chamber of Commerce and its partners.
After the Black Stars' opener in Toronto, the team will travel to Boston, USA, for the second group match against England before moving to Philadelphia for the final group match.
After a 1-1 draw against Wales, the Black Stars will wrap up their World Cup preparations with a friendly against Jamaica on June 10 before heading to the tournament.
Ghana have been drawn in Group L alongside Panama, England and Croatia. They will open their campaign against Panama at BMO Field on June 17, face England on June 23, and conclude their group matches against Croatia on June 27.
The four-time African champions are aiming to reach the knockout stages of the World Cup for the first time since their memorable quarter-final run in 2010.
