"What really pleased me a lot is the way the players listened to my instruction; my game plan; they were very respectful," Queiroz said.
Despite the draw, Queiroz remains optimistic about the team's trajectory. He believes that with continued effort and adherence to his methods, the Black Stars will improve in time for the World Cup.
Ghana open their Group L campaign against Panama on June 17, followed by England on June 23 and Croatia on June 27. For Queiroz, the foundation is being laid, and the signs are encouraging.
