Black Stars will do everything to win against South Korea – Kamaldeen Sulemana
· GhanaSoccernetBlack Stars forward Kamaldeen Sulemana says the team will do everything possible to secure victory when they face South Korea in Tuesday’s international friendly.
He believes the group has enough quality to respond strongly after last week’s defeat to Japan.
Ghana is aiming to close the November window on a positive note following Friday’s 2-0 loss to the Blue Samurai.
The fixture also offers a repeat of their 2022 World Cup meeting, when Otto Addo’s men claimed a dramatic 3-2 win in Qatar.
Sulemana noted that the South Korean side Ghana defeated two years ago has evolved, stressing that the match will demand greater focus.
“It's a different team than we played against a few years ago,” he said during the pre-match engagement.
“It's going to be a tough game for us, but I also think we can beat them,” he added.
Sulemana insisted the Black Stars approach the contest with confidence and determination.
“I think we've got the quality to beat them. We are going to try to do that. We are very excited to be here,” he said.
The Black Stars meet South Korea on November 18 as they intensify preparations for next year’s World Cup, hoping to end 2025’s final international window on a winning note.
