Mark Addo urges impactful partnerships as GFA renews betPawa alliance
· GhanaSoccernetGhana Football Association Vice-President Mark Addo has stressed the importance of partnerships that deliver tangible benefits to players, describing betPawa’s continued support as an example of how corporate involvement can help football thrive.
The company is investing GHS 3.5 million for the upcoming World Cup and Women's AFCON in Morocco, with each Black Queens reportedly set to earn GHS 20,000 for each win at the tournament in July.
The latest agreement extends betPawa’s Locker Room Bonus initiative to the Black Stars and Black Queens, adding to the company’s existing support for domestic football competitions.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Addo said football development requires collaboration between governing bodies and private-sector partners committed to making a real difference.

“The Ghana Football Association deeply values partnerships that go beyond visibility and branding to make meaningful impact where it matters most — on the pitch, in the locker room, and in the lives of our players.”
