John Antwi determined to clinch MTN FA Cup with Dreams FC to finish season on a high

Dreams FC captain John Antwi has revealed his ambition to win the MTN FA Cup with the side to end the 2025/26 football season on a high.

The experienced striker has played an important role for the Still Believe outfit throughout the season, scoring important goals to help the team to reach the final of the FA Cup.

Speaking to SportyFM ahead of the final against Nations FC, John Antwi stressed that he is ready to give everything to win the trophy with his side.

While he admits the final will be very difficult, the forward insists losing is not an option.

“Looking at Nations FC I will say they have a very good team. We played them in the league. I think we played them twice and it was very difficult.

“So going into the final with them we need to be prepared very well, be focused and then play as a team to win the trophy. I will say it’s not going to be an easy game but in the end we need to win the Cup,” John Antwi said.

The MTN FA Cup final between Dreams FC and Nations FC is scheduled for Sunday, May 31, and will kick off at 6 pm at the Legon Sports Stadium.
