Former Hearts of Oak head coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani is reportedly set to be appointed as head coach of newly promoted Ghana Premier League outfit Port City FC.

Didi Dramani was relieved of his role as the technical head of the Phobians on Tuesday, May 26.

In an official statement, the club explained that the decision was made following a comprehensive technical review by its board.

“Hearts of Oak SC wishes to announce that, following a comprehensive technical review of the 2025/26 football season, the Board has decided to part ways with the Technical Team led by Coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani,” the statement read.

The club expressed appreciation to Dramani and his backroom staff for their professionalism, commitment and service during their time at the club.

Under Dramani’s guidance, Hearts finished third in the just-ended Ghana Premier League season, narrowly missing out on the league title and continental qualification spots.

The former Asante Kotoko coach was appointed on a two-year deal in June 2025 as part of the club’s rebuilding process.

Despite showing signs of improvement throughout the campaign, the club’s hierarchy has opted for a new technical direction ahead of next season.

Just hours after his sacking, sources have reported that Didi Dramani is heading to Port City FC. It is a move by the newly promoted side to strengthen their technical bench to ensure they compete with the big boys in the Ghanaian top-flight league next season.
