Hearts of Oak MD Julius Emunah rallies behind Black Stars ahead of Panama World Cup opener

With the Black Stars set to begin their Group L campaign on Wednesday, Emunah said the players have the opportunity to inspire an entire nation on football's biggest stage.
"This is a moment that defines generations," Emunah said.
"The Black Stars are not just representing themselves, but every Ghanaian who believes in the power of our football and the progress of Ghana football. They must play with courage, discipline and the confidence required at this level."
The Hearts of Oak boss stressed that togetherness would be vital if Ghana are to make a strong start to the tournament.
He also expressed pride in seeing Hearts goalkeepers Benjamin Asare and Solomon Agbasi included in the Black Stars squad for the World Cup.
"We are proud to have Solomon Agbasi and Benjamin Asare in the Black Stars squad," he said.
"They have worked hard to be here and are fully part of this journey. As a club, we are behind them and the entire team as they prepare for this important first match."
Emunah called on Ghanaians to unite behind the national team, insisting that the support of fans can inspire the players during the tournament.
"Let us stand firmly behind the Black Stars," he said.
"Our voices and our belief can make a difference. Ghana is with them, and together we can push them to achieve something special for the entire nation."
Ghana face Panama in Toronto before taking on England and Croatia in their remaining Group L fixtures as they seek a place in the knockout stages of the World Cup.
