We can only win if we work as a team – Interim Kotoko coach Hamza Obeng
· GhanaSoccernetInterim head coach of Asante Kotoko, Hamza Obeng, is keen on making an impact in the last few games of the 2025/26 season but insists he cannot do it alone.
He believes the team can only win the rest of their matches in the Ghana Premier League if the players and technical staff work together.
Speaking ahead of Asante Kotoko’s next fixture against Dreams FC, Obeng stressed his readiness to give everything in the short period he has been put in charge as head coach.
“It’s a big platform, and I also have to execute whatever I’m supposed to do with the boys and also showcase my talent as well. People are happy, people are saying good things, and others are saying other things. Now, all of us need to come together. I’m working with my technical team, we are planning together because if we want to win, we need to do it as a team,” the coach told AKSC Media.
Asante Kotoko are currently preparing for their next league match against Dreams FC. That match is scheduled to kick off at 3 pm at the Tuba AstroTurf on Sunday, May 3.
