New Rumor Claims to Reveal Intriguing Reed Richards Storyline in AVENGERS: SECRET WARS

After seeing the variants appear across the Marvel movies Spider-Man: No Way Home, and Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness, we know we are in for many more in the next two Avengers movies. The multiversal portal is wide open, and we are bound to be some mayhem before it closes.

One new rumor points to Pedro Pascal’s Mr. Fantastic, aka Reed Richards, being one of these variants. According to industry insider James Mack, Avengers: Secret Wars will “indeed have a Reed variant.”

The scooper made the claim in response to a fan asking who will play “The Marker.” Assuming the person meant “The Maker,” Mack suggests that the popular Reed variant will make his debut in the upcoming movie.

The Maker, also known as Ultimate Reed Richards, is Ultimate Marvel’s (Earth-1610) version of Mister Fantastic in Marvel Comics.

He starts out as a younger and modernized version of Reed who later turns into the supervillain Maker. This version of Reed plays a notable role in the comics’ Secret Wars storyline, so it would make sense for fans to assume he will appear, but it’s also not guaranteed.

Avengers: Doomsday hits theaters on December 18, 2026; Avengers: Secret Wars will be released on December 17, 2027.
