ONE PIECE Season 2 Trailer Unleashes Nico Robin and the Dangers of the Grand Line

Netflix has unleashed a new trailer for One PieceSeason 2, and it the adventure is about to get much bigger and much stranger. The next chapter of the live-action adaptation of Eiichiro Oda’s legendary manga sets its sights on the Grand Line, while also teasing the long-anticipated debut of Nico Robin.

The trailer opens the door to the Grand Line, a place that’s been hyped since the early days of the story. According to the official synopsis:

“In Season 2, Luffy and the Straw Hats set sail for the extraordinary Grand Line – a legendary stretch of sea where danger and wonder await at every turn.

“As they journey through this unpredictable realm in search of the world’s greatest treasure, they’ll encounter bizarre islands and a host of formidable new enemies.”

One of the biggest takeaways from the trailer is the introduction of the Baroque Works syndicate, a shadowy network of assassins that will serve as the Straw Hat Pirates’ first true test in the Grand Line. The organization is secretly run by Mr. 0, and Season 2 pulls no punches in showing just how dangerous his operation is.

The footage introduces several key members, including Lera Abova as Miss All Sunday, better known as Nico Robin, Charithra Chandran as Miss Wednesday and Princess Vivi, David Dastmalchian as Mr. 3, Camrus Johnson as Mr. 5, Jazzara Jaslyn as Miss Valentine, Daniel Lasker as Mr. 9, and Sophia Ann Caruso as Miss Goldenweek.

The trailer gives a solid look at the characters’ Devil Fruit abilities, including Robin’s iconic powers. Her brief interactions with Luffy and the crew are teased just enough to spark excitement without giving too much away.

Seeing Nico Robin finally brought to life in live-action is a fun moment for longtime fans, and the show seems confident in leaning into what makes her such a compelling character.

Season 2 continues to be guided by Steven Maeda, who serves as writer and executive producer, alongside Matt Owens. Owens and Joe Tracz are stepping in as showrunners for the new season, keeping the creative vision consistent as the series expands.

The core Straw Hat crew is back, with Iñaki Godoy returning as Monkey D. Luffy, Mackenyu as Roronoa Zoro, Emily Rudd as Nami, Jacob Romero Gibson as Usopp, and Taz Skylar as Sanji.

The new season also brings in a wave of fan-favorite characters from the manga. Mikaela Hoover joins the cast as Tony Tony Chopper, Katey Sagal appears as Dr. Kureha, Callum Kerr takes on Smoker, Julia Rehwald plays Tashigi, Rigo Sanchez steps into the role of Monkey D. Dragon, and Joe Manganiello looms large as Crocodile, also known as Mr. 0.

Netflix has already renewed One Piece for a third season ahead of Season 2’s premiere. That next installment will introduce Portgas D. Ace, with Xolo Maridueña set to play the fan-favorite character.

The series returns on March 10, 2026, and the Straw Hats are heading straight into dangerous waters.
