Coleen Rooney did Christmas tradition with family before joining I'm A Celeb
by Jamie Hawkins, Emma Gill · PlymouthLiveWAG Coleen Rooney is gearing up to brave the wilderness for this year’s rendition of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here, but before jetting off to Australia, she had an important tradition to uphold with her kids. Amidst getting ready to be apart from her sons, Kai, Kit, Klay and Cass, with hubby and Plymouth Argyle manager Wayne Rooney, she ensured the family's festive custom of penning letters to Santa was honoured.
Sharing a candid Instagram video just before departure, she expressed: "We've even done letters to Father Christmas today so they'll get posted on the way to school tomorrow, that was another thing that I wanted to make sure that I did before I go."
She confessed her 'really anxious' feelings about leaving the kids, yet reassured all that she has meticulously arranged everything needed during her absence. Demonstrating her organisation, two large white boards can be seen detailing school schedules, soccer and social gatherings, which will guide her supportive 'army' of friends and relatives.
Additionally, she mentioned heartfelt gestures such as writing individual cards for her boys and leaving them each a kangaroo toy to remind them that she's always with them in spirit.
She expressed that the jungle would be a significant shift, but as someone constantly 'in mum mode' with scarce time to ponder, she was eager for the chance to do something for herself, meet new individuals and have the 'time to reflect and think of all the things that I am grateful for'. The 2024 series of the popular ITV reality show is set to premiere on Sunday, November 17, at 9pm, with a 105-minute special before airing nightly - excluding Saturdays - until December 8 when the final is anticipated, reports the Manchester Evening News.
