Paul Onuachu has said Trabzonspor got their reward following the hard-earned victory over Galatasaray, DAILY POST reports.

Fatih Tekke’s side beat the Turkish Super Lig champions 2-1 at the Papara Park on Saturday night.

Trabzonspor moved within one point of the title holders following the win.

Onuachu, and his compatriots, Chibuike Nwaiwu as well as Anthony Nwakaeme all played crucial roles in the win.

Onuachu opened the scoring after four minutes, while Nwaiwu netted the winning goal in the 62nd minute, with Nwakaeme providing the assist.

Galatasaray were without their talismanic striker, Victor Osimhen in the game.

Osimhen is currently recuperating from an arm injury.

Onuachu insisted that they gave their all in the keenly contested fixture.

”We really fought hard in front of these fans, we gave our all to win. We respect Galatasaray, they have very good players. We got the reward for our hard work. We gave our all to win and we won,” the 31-year-old said after the game.
