‘I enjoyed myself’ – Tinubu speaks after vacation in Europe 

President Bola Tinubu has said he enjoyed his vacation in Europe, declaring himself fit and ready to resume official duties.

Tinubu spoke to journalists on Tuesday upon his arrival at the Presidential Wing of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos.

Asked how his vacation went, the President said, “I enjoyed my trip.”

When asked about concerns raised by Nigerians over his health towards the end of his vacation, Tinubu said he was ready to resume work.

“Ready to kick, ready to walk. There’s nothing wrong,” he said.

The President added that rumours were part of politics, insisting that he was healthy and ready to continue his duties.

“Well, rumours will always be emanating from politics, but the facts remain up here. Healthy, sound, and ready to go,” Tinubu said.

Tinubu returned to Nigeria after spending four weeks in Europe on a working holiday.
