‘Iran will be ‘completely decimated if I’m assassinated’ – Trump
by Matthew Atungwu · Daily PostUnited States President Donald Trump says the US would completely decimate Iran if it attempts or succeeds in assassinating him.
Trump issued this warning on Friday in a post on his social media platform, Truth Social.
According to him, 1000 missiles are locked and loaded and aimed at the Islamic Republic of Iran, with thousands of more to immediately follow, should the Iranian Government act on its threat pronounced in many corners of the globe.
“If they assassinate me or any sitting President of the United States of America, in this case, America will completely decimate them,” he said.
Trump stressed that the US military has been given orders already and is ready, willing, and able, for a one year period of time to completely take Iran out.
Trump’s remark came a day after he agreed to further negotiations with Iran, even as he repeated his statement that the ceasefire was over, just weeks after Washington and Tehran signed a memorandum of understanding pushing for peace.
