AFCON final: CAF responds to Senegal’s complaints against Morocco
by Don Silas · Daily PostThe Confederation of African Football, CAF, on Saturday, responded to Senegal’s complaints against Morocco ahead of the AFCON final on Sunday night.
Recall that Senegal had complained to CAF, refusing to train at the Mohammed VI Football Complex.
The Teranga Lions believe the host team is based opposite the facility and their sessions could easily be monitored and recorded ahead of the AFCON final.
However, CAF has now released a statement regarding Senegal’s complaints.
CAF said it has noted Senegal’s complaints in relation to their logistics, adding that the West Africans were allowed to select a hotel for their team ahead of the final and was granted and the matter has been resolved.
The African football body wished both teams the best of luck ahead of the final.
