Solve Nigeria’s insecurity or lose second term – Primate Ayodele to Tinubu

The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has warned President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to solve the insecurity crisis in the country before August or lose the 2027 election.

In a statement signed by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, Primate Ayodele revealed that the president risks losing his second-term ambition if the issue of insecurity remains unsolved by August.

The man of God noted that insecurity is a serious matter in the country and that there are plans to carry out more deadly attacks than the country has ever seen, stating that the president must immediately get to work to avoid more crises in his government.

“Tinubu needs to handle the issue of insecurity well; it needs serious deliberation, especially towards the election, so they won’t truncate his government. If he doesn’t listen, he will be the one to lose everything in the end.

“He needs to wake up now and start planning to eliminate insecurity as soon as possible because I see something serious coming.”

The prophet revealed that Nigerians will get tired and speak with one voice, which would be to kick Tinubu out of government if he doesn’t address the issue squarely.

“Tinubu has till August to drastically reduce the operations of bandits and terrorists in Nigeria; otherwise, Nigerians will speak with one voice to kick him out of government. His fate is in his hands; it’s not yet time for him to focus on politics, but true governance, which entails securing the lives of citizens.

“The terrorists are planning to carry out more serious attacks, and if care isn’t taken, this will be used against Tinubu’s government. He must act fast.

Primate Ayodele urged the president to also turn to some state governments to help the economy grow.

“The insecurity is causing economic crises, and I don’t think the finance minister understands the situation.

“We have governors of Taraba, Zamfara, and Kogi who have resources in their states that can help the nation; the president should make use of that.”
