Kano By-Elections: Major opposition parties missing from ballot papers

Major opposition parties have been reported absent from the by-election in Kano State ballot papers.

According to a video circulating online, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP), and African Democratic Congress (ADC) are not listed on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) ballot papers for the polls.

The by-election became necessary following the passing of former lawmakers last year, both of whom were members of the NNPP before their demise.

A total of nine political parties, excluding PDP, NNPP, and ADC, are listed on the ballot papers for today’s exercise.
