Transfer deadline: Chelsea, Barcelona confirm deal for Washington, Guille Fernandez

Chelsea on Tuesday confirmed that Deivid Washington has completed a permanent transfer to RC Strasbourg.  

Washington joined the Blues in 2023 from Santos and made three first-team appearances during his debut campaign.  

“We thank Deivid for his efforts throughout his time at Chelsea,” Chelsea’s statement partly read.

Similarly, Barcelona confirmed that Guille Fernandez has joined RCD Mallorca.

In a statement on Tuesday, Barcelona wished Fernandez all the best in his “new chapter”.

The LaLiga giants also thanked Fernandez for his dedication and professionalism during all his years at the club.

Fernandez joined Barcelona in 2018 and quickly became known for his technical quality and his physical prowess.
