EPL: Chelsea set new record after 2-1 defeat to Arsenal

by · Daily Post

Chelsea set a new Premier League record on Sunday, following their 2-1 defeat to Arsenal 2-1 at the Emirates.

Morgan Rogers gave the Blues a very early lead against the champions.

But the Gunners fought back to record a third consecutive league win this season, thanks to goals from Kai Havertz and Martin Odegaard.

Rogers’ early strike meant Chelsea become the first team in Premier League history to score in the first five minutes of each of their opening three matches.
