Rescued Oyo schoolchildren, teachers arrive Gov Makinde’s office [VIDEO]
by Matthew Atungwu · Daily PostThe rescued Oyo schoolchildren and teachers have arrived at Governor Seyi Makinde’s office in Ibadan, the state capital.
The victims were received at the Executive Council Chambers, Governor’s Office, Secretariat, Agodi, amid the presence of top government officials, security chiefs and other dignitaries.
DAILY POST recalls that the victims, abducted on May 15, regained their freedom on July 10.
They spent over 50 days in captivity following sustained efforts by security agencies.
Unfortunately, the bandits beheaded one of the teachers a few days after the abduction.
