Portugal reveal when next Ronaldo will play for national team after suspension

Portugal captain, Cristiano Ronaldo, is set for an immediate return to the national team.

The country’s football federation on Saturday, confirmed the 41-year-old has been suspended for walking out of camp during the UEFA Nations League in September.

But it now appears Ronaldo will likely serve a one-month suspension. 

The Al Nassr forward could be available for Portugal during the November International break.

“The Federation, the coach, all the teammates are aligned: we want Cristiano back. I expect him back already during the November international break,” FPF president, Pedro Proença, said.

“Cristiano is also willing to return. He’s the best of all time.”
