World Cup 2026: ‘2-1 after extra-time’ – Leboeuf predicts winner of Argentina vs Switzerland
by Precious Bello · Daily PostFormer Chelsea defender, Frank Leboeuf, has predicted Switzerland to beat Argentina 2-1 after extra-time at the World Cup.
Argentina and Switzerland will clash in the World Cup quarter-final on Sunday.
Both teams had defeated Egypt and Colombia in the Round of 16 stage.
Speaking on ESPN FC, the former France International said, “I’m going to go for Switzerland [to win] in extra-time. 2-1 win.”
The winner between Argentina and Switzerland will face the winner between England and Norway in the semi-final stage.
Argentina is the current holder of the World Cup after winning the last edition of the tournament in Qatar four years ago.
